Kill
It is possible to kill other user accounts, but to do this, you must first take down the defences of the user account you are trying to kill. Then you have to ensure that you are in the same city and use enough bullets for the victim to lose all his life.
The more defence the victim has, the more money you have to spend to take down the defences. Higher rank and the higher difference between your rank and the victim's rank affect how many bullets you have to use to succeed.
Calculate bullets required
Select your and the victim's rank to get an estimated number of bullets. If the victim is 50% on the way to the next rank, the needed number of bullets is approx. in the middle between the two values. Remember to check the status of the profile of the user account you are trying to kill to see if the user is already hurt. If the user is hurt, then you can succeed with fewer bullets.
If you want to do the math yourself, the formula for the number of bullets needed is (XP*8)^0.73/15. For every rank the murderer is below the victim's rank, the damage of bullets drops by 10%. This does not apply to the first rank below the victim's rank.
Fewer bullets if the person is injured
You need fewer bullets if the person you are trying to kill is injured. For someone with 50% health, you only need 50% of the bullets.

---|---|

76 - 99 % health | |
41 - 75 % health | |

Things to watch out for when killing
When you attack someone's defence, your defence is halved for 12 hours unless you attack someone as part of a mission. You can not attack more than three times each day.
Not all user accounts can be killed
New user accounts are under beginner protection for five days from the time they were registered and, therefore, cannot be killed unless they have acquired an asset such as, e.g. an airport or have tried to kill someone.
The reward for killing others
When you kill someone with the rank of Apprentice or higher, you will receive 5% of the total XP earned by the killed user account. The kill counter on your profile will also increase if the victim has the rank of Junior Chief or higher.
If the person you kill has assets in the game, such as e.g. airport or blackjack, you will take over these. Note that you can have a maximum of two assets at a time.
Opportunities to make kills cheaper
There are a few things you can take advantage of to make kills cheaper:
- Attack the victim when the victim's defence is halved.
- Try to find out how far the person has progressed on the rank bar to get a more accurate estimate of the number of bullets you need to use.
Find information about others with your detective
Your detective can be used to find out what city other user accounts are in and how much defence they have.
What happens if I get killed?
You will lose almost everything except banners and your respect level if you are killed. You must start over, which is why you must build a strong defence.
If your rank is Apprentice or higher when you get killed, you will get a rank booster on your new user account that lasts for 48 hours (for the rank of Apprentice) + 7.2 hours for each rank above the rank of Apprentice. Points you have purchased for real money during the last 30 days but not spent will be transferred to your new account if you choose a new username from the "you have been killed" page.
